Marica Ohlsson

I was brought up surrounded with materials, gadgets, tools, space and constant talk about testing, observing, reflecting, inventing and dreaming about how to do and how it is perceived. To paint and test different techniques. Regular practice in croquis and life model drawing begun at the age of fourteen. A very good foundation when facing other creative and artistic activities since it is a constant learning and discovering about, among many things, how perception and mind works and the importance of being attentive. Session of croquis and life model (figure) drawing together with other sketchers almost always leads to interesting conversations - about how we view life in general and the real model in particular.
